Bishop, Entire Congregation Robbed During Live Church Service

Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead, an American Pastor and members of his congregation were robbed of about $400K in jewellery during a live-streamed church service on Sunday. Whitehead was speaking at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie, Brooklyn, when the robbery happened. He made this known on his social media pages afterwards, when he said, "I didn’t know if they wanted to shoot the church up or if they were just coming for a robbery.”  While addressing comments on him having expensive jewellery, he said, “A lot of people are going to say, ‘Why are you so flashy?’ It’s my prerogative to purchase what I want to purchase if I work hard for it.” Follow City Gist for breaking news and videos.

The young woman who brought about the arrest of Amanda Chisom has revealed herself and the reason behind it. She is Amanda Chidera Nwoye, a young lawyer who is in her 30s. In her post, it was clear that she was angered by Amanda Chisom's uncouth utterances when she enquired about CHINMARK Chinedu's whereabouts. An excited young Nigerian by the name Awucha Ezekiel has taken to Facebook to share his earnings from blogging for the month of July, totalling the sum of $75,378.10. This post has reportedly caused ripples among many young Nigerians, especially at a time when a lot of them are still grappling with unemployment and economic hardship. In the said post, Ezekiel simply made a screenshot of his earning for the month of July and posted on Facebook with the poser, "bloggers, how much Google pay una today"? Kidnapped Arthur Jarvis University Student rescued by the Police, suspects killed.

Men of the Cross River State Police Command have rescued an Arthur Jarvis University student, Josephine, who was abducted on Tuesday by kidnappers operating from Akpabuyo Local Government Area, Cross River State, Vanguard Newspaper comfirms. The school, which is located 18 kilometers away from Calabar, the state capital, is the first private university in the state and has almost rounded off it’s session billed for Friday (yesterday) before the incident. A covert operation, Vanguard learned, was carried out by a crack team of policemen following directives of the Commissioner of Police Cross River state, Aminu Alhassan. According to a top security source, the covert operation took the tactical unit into the hideout of the hoodlums in Akpabuyo, where the victim was rescued at about 11pm on Thursday.
